Programs and Measures Envisaged in Cadastre Sphere Completely Implemented in 2021: Suren Tovmasyan
1 / 3

On March 28, the RA NA Standing Committee on Economic Affairs, chaired by Babken Tunyan, debated the Report on Implementation Process and Results of the RA Government Programme for 2021 (2021-2026) approved by the N 234-A Decision of the RA Government on February 28, 2022 at the extraordinary sitting.

The RA Head of the Cadastre Committee Suren Tovmasyan considered the introduction of the electronic system in the sphere a great progress, which gave an opportunity to accept and serve more than 720.000 applications received in 2021, without adding vacancies in the system.

The envisaged measures have been implemented, some of which are ongoing, and their implementation will continue in 2022.

Suren Tovmasyan highlighted the aerial photography of the whole territory of Armenia using advanced technologies, which is a basis for correcting cadastral maps.

Aerial photography will be used in the identification of 58 arbitrary buildings, urban planning, the creation and updating of base cartographic layers, as well as a number of other processes.

As of 31 December 2021, 44 combined spatial planning documents at the micro-regional level including 490 settlements have been developed.

It was also noted that in 2021, one thousand geographical names were updated.

The RA Head of the Cadastre Committee Suren Tovmasyan answered to the colleagues’ questions.
